Who We Are

Indie Healthcare helps self-employed individuals, freelancers, gig workers, and small business owners find and enroll in health coverage. We are not an insurance carrier — we connect you with licensed benefits consultants and the plan administrators and carriers who underwrite and administer the plans described on this Site.

Not a Guarantee of Coverage

Information on this Site — including plan summaries, benefit descriptions, and pricing — is provided for general informational purposes and is subject to change. It does not constitute a binding offer of coverage. Final rates, eligibility, and benefits are determined by the applicable plan administrator or carrier and confirmed in your official plan documents, including the Summary of Benefits and Coverage (SBC) for each plan.

MEC vs. Major Medical

KeyCare and VitalCare are Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plans and are not ACA-compliant major medical insurance. They do not cover services such as emergency room care, surgery, or hospital stays. Our Major Medical PPO plans provide broader, ACA-compliant coverage. Please review each plan's SBC carefully before enrolling.
